World Week for the Abolition of Meat:

The World Weeks for the Abolition of Meat of these past two years have allowed for a wide variety of actions to take place in more than 100 cities in a large number of countries: the Bahamas, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, the Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Greece, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, South Africa, Switzerland, Turkey, the United States – among others. Awareness actions, street performances, speeches, protest marches... Many people throughout the world thus raised their voices on behalf of the oppressed animals, expressing the idea that our societies have to abolish the killing of animals in order to consume their flesh.
